David Schwimmer has been set to star in Channel 4 sitcom Morning Has Broken. Schwimmer, who became a Channel 4 perennial thanks to the constant re-runs of Friends over the years, will play an American producer brought in to try and save the floundering show of once successful media personality Gail Sinclair, the so-called ‘Queen of Daytime’. Schwimmer will play an American producer brought in to try to save a floundering breakfast-time show, “Good Morning… with Gail Sinclair.” The role of the show’s host, the “Queen of Daytime,” is taken by Julia Davis, who co-wrote “Morning Has Broken” with Nick Mohammed. Mohammed will play one of Sinclair’s fellow anchors.
After eight years of high ratings and winning awards, things begin to go wrong for Sinclair when the program loses viewers and tensions break out within the production team.

Hank Zipzer will be back for a second series of episodes on Cbbc in August, and a third series has already been commissioned.
It follows the adventures of 14-year-old Hank Zipzer, who has dyslexia and looks at the world differently to other people, causing problems with his school teachers Mr Love (Nick Mohammed) and Miss Adolf (Felicity Montagu), as well as his parents Rosa (Juliet Cowan) and Stan (Neil Fitzmaurice).
Winkler co-stars as music teacher Mr Rock, who understands and supports Hank.
