When Tex Beneke took over the late Glenn Miller Band one of the musicians was Gene Cipriano, who played saxophone with Tex from June 1949 to October 1950. He also was later in some of Tex's West Coast pick-up groups. Cipriano was long time room mates with trombonist a Dick Nash. See more »
