Born in Madrid, Spain, by the age of two he moved with his parents to the Dominican Republic. He started acting when he was 10 years old and went through six years of drama classes, after which he decided to move behind cameras. Since the end of his school life, Cesar Leon has travelled to Spain, India, Brasil, Turkey and Mexico (his actual homeland) and participating in diverse projects and courses as cameraman, boom operator and scriptwriter. With a huge passion for cinema, Cesar Leon considers as extremely important, the fact of using your very own methods of creation, as taking part of the art is the only way of becoming an artist. For now, January 2012, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will bring his first feature film as a scriptwriter with Jaque Mate.
