Selected 10th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft, six rounds after his twin brother, Ron, was taken by the Philadelphia Flyers. After just 9 games with Pittsburgh, he was traded to Philadelphia, and played with Ron for 3 years. Also played for Vancouver, St. Louis and Chicago.
