Sandy Duarte is the Winner of the prestigious Dora Award [Canada's Tony Award] for her Outstanding Female Performance in the iconic production of "Blood" written by Tom Walmsley. Her very first ever Dora Nomination and Win for a role the playwright himself [Tom Walmsley] specifically asked her to perform. "Blood" also garnered three nominations for a production Duarte not only starred in but had also produced.

Sandy also performed in Walmsley's classic, "Something Red" and the World Premiere theatrical debut of Walmsley's "The Nun's Vacation", which she had also produced and garnered rave reviews in addition to NOW Magazine's esteemed "Critics Pick".

Sandy Duarte's desire to expand has driven her to go Global where she is a European Citizen, a Canadian Citizen, a US Visa holder, and currently works and resides in Los Angeles, California.
