Epic Red cameras are currently being used to film both The Hobbit and Spider-Man reboot.  Those awesome and expensive cameras are meant for professionals and not your typical consumer.

The new Red Scarlet camera is however, well it is actually aimed at the demographic of a prosumer.  The camera is reported to be a bit lighter than the Epic and comes with a top-mounted 5-inch touchscreen.
