Janice Dickinson is coming back to reality television with Sober Model House, with a bunch of hot people living together and trying not to be drunk. I'm not entirely certain that qualifies as entertainment.
Internet travel company Kayak has dropped sponsorship of All-American Muslim, but swears it's just bad timing with the Florida Family Association/Lowes controversy. According to a long post by Chief Marketing Officer Robert Birge "I watched the first two episodes. Mostly, I just thought the show sucked."
And as to the 65 companies that the Ffa claims to have gotten to drop sponsorship, some are calling Ffa out, including Campbell Soup, Bank of America, and Sears (disclosure: I have a day job with Sears »
Performer, writer and friend (we’re friends, right?) Jeffery Self has painstakingly combed through hundreds of hours of sh*t gay guys have said to put together this one minute and twenty second video called “Sh*t Gay Guys Say.” It’s kind of like the monkeys typing Hamlet version of things you’re going to hear coming out of a gay man’s mouth at any given moment. Gay or straight, I think we can all agree that we get way, wayyyy to many free issues of Entertainment Weekly from out of nowhere. Not that I’m complaining, but just how does this happen? Follow Jeffery’s handsome whereabouts on his Tumblr. Remember when he had this adorable show with Cole Escola? Sigh. »

"Yes, velour still exists in the 31st century, as seen here by the Legionairres modelling their new tracksuit costumes."
Thanks to Keven for this week's winning caption.
Weekend Birthdays! (Note: Birthday shoutouts are for out entertainers, allies, or for any celeb that seems to have a following on Ae). Pete Burns (above) turns 52, Antony Cotton is 36, and Charlize Theron is 36. Congrats to Project Runway judge Michael Kors, who is set to marry his partner, the fabulously named Lance LePere. While we're at it, big congrats to my former Ae colleague Brian Juergens, who married partner Andy Swist last week. Brian and Andy collaborate on the hilarious True Blood vlog Blood Work. Below you can see the first pic of Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle in The Dark Knight Rises. »
While Sir Elton John was trying his best to make Saturday Night Live watchable, his partner David Furnish was photographed out and about with a new tattoo on his arm: Zachary. Now I just want to know if the person who wrote the article at x17Online.com knew what they were writing with “in West Hollywood, the smiling 48-year-old daddy sported fresh ink on his forearm.”
A new study in California finds that older (50-70) gay men are more likely to suffer depression, live alone and suffer from issues like high blood pressure than their straight counterparts. Of course that could be because they can’t get married and take care of each other, just a thought.
Hop looks to have finished with a respectable $38.1 million for the weekend, higher than expected. Jake Gyllenhaal may still have a career after Source Code (aka Groundhog Day meets Déjà vu) had a decent $15.1 million opening. »
