Heroes and villains will align in the third season of Once Upon a Time.

Now that Iron Man 3's stellar box office run is beginning to slow, all eyes will soon be turning to Marvel Studios' next Phase Two offering as Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder battles to save the Nine Realms in director Alan Taylor's (Game of Thrones) solo sequel Thor: The Dark World. Yesterday, Marvel launched the official website for the film and thanks to Empire we also have three new stills featuring Hemsworth's Thor, Christopher Eccleston's (Doctor Who) villain Malekith the Accursed, and his cronies the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.

ABC's Once Upon A Time: Season 2 wrapped up earlier this evening with a big season finale and the network plus Amazon.com want to make sure the transition to home video is swift.

The final title card in Iron Man 3 declared, “Tony Stark Will Return.” It’s a reassuring promise (and one that shows that the character’s not-so-secret identity has gained just as much popularity as his superhero alter ego). But it’s not necessarily a guarantee that Robert Downey Jr. will also return.

'Thor: The Dark World' teaser poster released with a trailer to follow

The first poster for the sequel to 2011's "Thor" has been released. Like "Iron Man 3," "Thor: The Dark World" is set after the events of "The Avengers." This time Thor (Chris Hemsworth) does battle against Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), a supervillain who rules over a race called the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.
The movie features the return of several actors from the first installment, including Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and Kat Dennings. Newcomers include Zachary Levi, who joins as Fandral, a role originally played by Joshua Dallas. Levi was cast in the role for the first film, but had to bow out due to his schedule on NBC's "Chuck."
With the teaser poster comes news that a trail will be released Tuesday (April 23). "Thor: The Dark World" will be in theaters November 8.

The first poster for Thor: The Dark World has been released.
Chris Hemsworth is front and centre in the new image, reprising his role as Asgardian superhero Thor for the third time, following Kenneth Branagh's Thor and Joss Whedon's The Avengers.
Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster - with some reports suggesting that she was forced to do so - and Tom Hiddleston will once again play Thor's villainous adoptive brother Loki.
In addition to Loki, Christopher Eccleston and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje both play new villains, and Eccleston's performance has been described as "absolutely magnetic" by Hiddleston.
Sir Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba and Kat Dennings will all reprise their roles from Thor, while Zachary Levi replaces Josh Dallas as Fandral.

As we approach the "Once Upon a Time" Season 2 finale, we continue to learn more about the tangled histories of our favorite characters.
The April 21 episode, titled "Lacey," is set to reveal further secrets about the past between Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin), with Mr. Gold enlisting David's (Josh Dallas) help to restore Belle's memory in Storybrooke and remind her of the love they share.

Brian Michael Bendis revealed on his tumblr that yes, there is a 616-Marvel Universe Miles Morales (as hinted at in the conclusion of Spider-Men) and that yes, there are plans to do something with the character. What those plans are and when they'll be implemented is anyone's guess. Christoper Nolan is scouting filming locations for his net film project, a sci-fi time travel thriller titled Interstellar which also deals with concepts such as black holes and alternate dimensions. Reportedly, The Dark Knight Rises director was in Iceland over Easter to scout film locations.
