Did Taylor Swift Shade Some of Her Famous Friends in the "Lwymmd" Video?

28 August 2017 12:05 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

The video for Taylor Swift's new single, "Look What You Made Me Do," premiered during the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. The visual was packed with hidden references to Taylor's ex-lovers, celebrity feuds, and past personas - and during one scene, it appears that she may have taken a swipe at a few of her (former?) famous friends. RelatedTaylor Swift Spoke to My Soul, Until I Grew Up - and She Didn't Taylor's group of high-profile girlfriends - her "squad," if you will - has gotten a lot of attention and criticism over the years; many have brought up the fact that they all look similar (something the singer alluded to in the "Lwymmd" video) and question whether Taylor's seemingly revolving door of friendships is even real. Taylor addressed the backlash in a 2016 Vogue interview, calling the accusations "hurtful" and adding, "When we're all friends in fifteen years and raising our kids together, »

Bumblebee's Vw Bug Form Revealed in Transformers Spin-Off Photo

23 August 2017 1:01 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The most recent set photograph from the Bumblebee spin-off movie features a first look at the return of the Autobot's 1980s roots. The last photo from the set was a glimpse at Hailee Steinfeld's Charlie Watson character wearing a Motorhead t-shirt to coincide with the 80s setting. While the last handful of Transformers movies have been met with overwhelmingly negative reviews over the years, the Bumblebee spin-off is looking to set itself apart from the bloat and excess from the Michael Bay directed franchise as director Travis Knight brings Bumblebee back to his heyday.

Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura recently talked about the Bumblebee spin-off taking place in the 1980s, while also teasing that the Autobot might return to its glory days as a Vw Bug and now we have proof. Akiva Goldsman no longer involved with Transformers franchise

12 August 2017 1:58 PM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Back in 2015, Paramount Pictures set up a writer’s room spearheaded by Akiva Goldsman, with a view to working out the future direction of the Transformers franchise.

Since then, we’ve had Transformers: The Last Knight, which was mauled by critics, and failed to match the box office performance of its predecessors, while production on the first spinoff movie Transformers Universe: Bumblebee is now underway, an animated movie is in development, and – according to Michael Bay – there are up to 14 other scripts on the table.

Well, it seems that Goldsman’s work is now done, as he has revealed to SlashFilm that he’s no longer involved with the franchise moving forward. Meanwhile, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that the writer’s room has now achieved its goals:

“The writers room, which was set up by all of us, was set up to explore the mythology more,” said di Bonaventura. »

‘Bumblebee’ – Hailee Seinfeld Reveals First Look

10 August 2017 12:55 AM, PDT | Age of the Nerd | See recent Age of the Nerd news »

(Aotn) Last week, we heard that the ‘Bumblebee‘ solo film had finally begun production. As the first spinoff film in the ‘Transformers‘ franchise, the team behind the the new solo films have talked openly about the importance of the ‘Bumblebee‘ movie. Although the franchise has grossed over 4.3 Billion worldwide, this film offers a turning point for the series in many ways. Especially when you consider each film has had diminishing returns from a box office perspective, the upcoming prequel needs to hit it out of the park to keep the franchise alive.

Based on our official first official look at Hailee Steinfeld‘s character “Charlie Watson”, this movie is certainly trying to differentiate itself as much as it possibly can from it’s predecessors. This is a good thing. It’s going to be interesting to finally see a someone else’s take on a ‘Transformers‘ film other than Michael Bay. »
