Everybody wants a piece of the Man of Steel.

The CW on Monday released a Superman-centric trailer for Supergirl‘s upcoming second season (Oct. 10, 8/7c), which finds the residents of National City — including Cat, Alex and even Winn — falling all over themselves at the mere sight of Tyler Hoechlin’s caped crusader.

(For the record, Winn’s apparent affinity for the boy in blue does nothing to quell our suspicion that he’s at the center of the series’ upcoming gay reveal, even if Alex is also a popular theory among most fans. »

Expect “A Big Reveal” For Iris West In The Flash Season Premiere

25 September 2016 9:44 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

When The Flash returns with its much talked about “Flashpoint” premiere event, we know to expect several radical changes to the timeline, namely Cisco Ramon being an affluent tech giant and Wally West having adopted the mantle of The Flash – but don’t call him “Kid Flash.”

One character, however, who may not be as affected by the change – aside from not having much familiarity with Barry Allen – is that of Candice Patton’s Iris West. Taking her recent discussion with Entertainment Weekly into account, it seems as though we won’t be seeing an Iris that was as radically different as on Earth 2 – and even then she still was a constant in Barry’s life.

Here’s what she had to say:

“She’s a fixed point for Barry Allen, so no matter where we see her, no matter where we find her, she’s still very similar »

The Flash's Candice Patton Teases 'Sweet' Barry/Iris Scenes in Season 3

The Flash will change things up in a big way in Season 3 with the Flashpoint alternate timeline, but one thing will remain the same amidst the disturbance: Barry and Iris’ love.

No matter how much the speedster tinkers with the timeline in the premiere episode (airing Oct. 4 at 8/7c on The CW), Iris remains “his constant,” the girl that he pines for in every reality, star Candice Patton (Iris) tells TVLine.

Flashpoint Contains A Big Reveal For Candice Patton's Iris West

24 September 2016 7:45 AM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Iris West actress Candice Patton confirms  to the magazine that a major revelation about Barry Allen's love interest will come to light as a result of the Flashpoint timeline.  "All I can tell you is that there’s quite a big reveal when it comes to Iris in the premiere — though that doesn’t mean she’s wildly different in the Flashpoint timeline," says EW.   However, Patton was quick to add that Iris won't be radically different from the burgeoning journalist we all know and love.  "She’s a fixed point for Barry Allen, so no matter where we see her, no matter where we find her, she’s still very similar to the Iris that we’ve always known and loved, which is why Barry sees her as the shining star in the sky. He can always find her somewhat the same. »

The Flash Movie Casts Billy Crudup as Barry Allen's Dad

9 September 2016 3:32 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Just weeks after it was confirmed that Batman v Superman star Ray Fisher will return as Cyborg in Warner Bros.' The Flash, Warner Bros. is in talks with Billy Crudup to join the cast. If a deal comes together the actor will portray Dr. Henry Allen, the father of Ezra Miller's Barry Allen. This would mark Billy Crudup's return to the DC world, having played Dr. Manhattan in Warner Bros.' 2009 comic book adaptation Watchmen.

Variety broke the news today, although this report doesn't include any details about how this character may be different from both the comics and the hit TV series. On The CW's The Flash, Dr. Henry Allen is played by John Wesley Shipp, who played Barry Allen in the 1990 TV series The Flash. In the series, much like in the comics, Henry Allen was framed for the murder of his wife and Barry's mother, »
