Raised in Plano, Texas, Candice continued her childhood dream of becoming an actress by attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.F.A in Theatre. It was here that she was scouted by The Young and the Restless for a CBS Soap Star Contest and flew out to Los Angeles to briefly join the cast. Candice finished her college education at SMU and moved to Los Angeles shortly after.

Candice Kristina Patton (born June 24, 1988) is an American actress. Patton is best known for her role as Iris West in The CW television series The Flash and as her recurring role as Tori in the BET television series The Game.

Patton was born in Jackson, Mississippi but raised in Plano, Texas. She attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Patton was cast for many television series including the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Patton received a role as Mercedes in the television series Sorority Forever. She was cast as Iris West in the pilot Flash series for The CW. BuddyTV ranked her #5 on its "TV's 100 Sexiest Women of 2014" list. In May 2015, Patton ranked No. 61 in the Maxim Hot 100 List.

Candice appeared on stage in a 2002 production of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus at the Collin Theatre Center in Plano Texas. Michael Urie (Ugly Betty (2006)) and Brian J. Smith (SGU Stargate Universe (2009)) also appeared in that production.
