Ernest Pierce, a Chicago native resident began performing in stage production working with a traveling theater company for three years. Receiving high recognition around the city of Chicago; Ernest traveled to New York and Ghana with various troupes to perform. With over eight years of vocal coaching/training singing with various church choirs, school choirs and multiple all male groups, Ernest combined his vocal skills with acting and landed his first Off Broadway Musical as the leading role Tyrone in FAME the musical. He continued his stage performance in over nine different stage productions before crossing over to tv/film. Ernest learned stage combat, fire arms and marksmanship, stunts and special effects/ movement from 1997-2001.

Ernest finished his first degree early in Health Administration minoring in Speech Communications and French. While studying at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois, Ernest worked in voice-overs and radio broadcasting with WKKC and the U of I Black House stations. Not to mention, 4 years as the daily school radio announcer for the campus of William Rainey Harper High School.

Deciding a career in film would be his next goal, Ernest traveled to New York and LA over the span of 3 years deciding LA would be the place to call home in 2008. Shortly after the move, Ernest was introduced and featured in a pilot called GLEE as a Cameo of Rachel Berry's Father "Leroy Berry". The same year Ernest was cast as Mr.Crackhead with the Wayans Bros movie Dance Flick. In 2009 Ernest branched off into writing short films and directing independent projects. Ernest additionally, co-starred as Donovan in the feature film Home-wrecker. Ernest took on new ventures into television with the LOGO network and Netflix co-starring as Stefan Braxton on the show DTLA. In 2012, Ernest took a more aggressive challenge of producing and directing which allowed him to expand in new genres such as syfy and comedy. In 2015, Ernest joined with producers Rick Jenkins and Miguel Nunez, co-starring in the ensemble cast for the feature syfy "2016" produced by LIONSGATE. Ernest is currently in production with a host of Independent and feature films set to release in 2016 and 2017.
