- Donald Keyes was born on June 2, 1903 in Rush, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Lux Video Theatre (1950), Studio One (1948) and Newsstand Theatre (1952). He died on August 23, 1986 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA.
- Donald lived the last years of his life in Pittsfield, Ma. He resided at The Octagon house across the street from an old vaudeville house turned movie theater turned semi-professional year round repertory (now Barrington Stage). He shared the house with theater offices, interns, and other artists. In 1985, Donald was the oldest resident of The Octagon House by half a century.
- Donald continued working late in his life, taking small parts with The Berkshire Public Theater in Pittsfield, Ma. In the mid 1980s, he was stricken with a case of giardiasis (otherwise known as Beaver Fever) from which he never fully recovered.
