Almost Paradise is a crime comedy action drama series that aired on Amazon in 2020. The show features a talented cast, including Christian Kane, Samantha Richelle, Simon London, and more. Year by year, we continue to be immensely impressed by the work crafted at the National Film and Television School. The level of quality production offered by the institution to its talented students is a match well-made and the films on offer at this year’s graduate showcase display that tenfold. The exhibition itself, which takes place at BFI Southbank from Monday 27th February to Thursday 2nd March, is the culmination of over 500 students’ work towards 80 short films, TV shows, commercials and games. In the run up to the showcase, Dn was afforded a preview of the films on offer across their fiction, documentary and animation strands and, in turn, has compiled the list below of the short films we recommend watching.
