Daniel Knight has appeared in dozens of feature-length films, shorts, and television programs. He often plays authority figures, blue-collar guys, and the average dad/family man.

Television work includes roles on the AMC Network's Better Call Saul, NBC's hit show Grimm, ABC's Killer Women, the USA Network series In Plain Sight, and ABC Family's Wildfire. Recent feature film appearances include the award-winning supernatural thriller Avenged; an award-winning family drama Gabby's Wish; and Cement Suitcase, a dramedy about learning to let go.

Daniel has also branched into producing and credits include several award-winning independent feature films, shorts, and web series.

Off set Daniel supports several charities and pitches in at various animal shelters.

Trivia (11)

Grew up in western Montana with one sister and six brothers.
On his own at age 16, he finished high school and supported himself by working the night shift at a sawmill his junior and senior years.
Spent his late teens through early thirties in western Montana working various jobs including ranch hand, sawmill worker, and hard rock miner.
Earned a bachelor's and three graduate degrees while working full-time, including a doctorate in Organizational Behavior from Montana State University.
Has held several executive positions within the corporate and government sectors and faculty/administrative positions at the University of Notre Dame, Oklahoma State University, and Idaho State University.
Has traversed the entire Lewis and Clark route from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean via canoe, rubber raft, bicycle, horseback, and walking.
Was an honorary cattle drover on the Great Centennial Cattle Drive of '89 held September 4 - 9, 1989. About 3000 head of longhorn cattle driven from Roundup to Billings, Montana.
Is a long-time animal advocate. Has owned and fostered many pit bull and other dog breeds, is active with the Humane Society, and worked many years with the US Dept of Interior Bureau of Land Management National Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Program.
Attended the University of Montana at the same time as J. K. Simmons.
Holds a Doctorate degree in Organizational Behavior; a Master of Education degree in Training Management; and a Master of Science degree in Technical/Project Management.
Former member of Montana Rodeo Association. Competed in bull-dogging (steer wrestling) and team roping.
