Jason Anthony Fisher is a studio sold and optioned screenwriter. He is also an award winning writer/director/producer with a Platinum Reel Award for his film A.K.A. The Surgeon at the 2015 Nevada International Film Festival. He began as an actor/writer, but has developed other skill sets over the years and is now a writer, director, producer, and actor, known for A.K.A. The Surgeon (2015), The Owl in Echo Park (2017), The Lex Luthor Show (2008), Foreclosure City (2010), and Summer of Hearts (2017). He is branching out even further from his passion and pursuit of making feature films and has started to write material for reality projects.

Jason has studied the craft of writing for the screen under several of the leading gurus, who have either studied or taught at prestigious institutions: Pilar Allesandra (Taught at UCLA's Extension program), Wendal Thomas (Adjunct screenwriting Professor at UCLA), Karl Iglesias (Cornel University), Blake Snyder (Georgetown University), and Daniel P. Calvisi (NYU).

Co-wrote a screenplay titled '6th Street Boys' that reached the Semi-Finals of the Project Greenlight 3 Screenplay contest with his friend Ryan Golchuk.
Jason has both optioned and sold one screenplay to Paramount Pictures, as a co-writer with his friend Ryan Golchuk.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Affectionately earned the nickname of Coach, from his friend Ryan Golchuk, due to Jason's penchant for trying build up and instill confidence in his cast and crew members, especially young actors.
Jason's film, A.K.A. The Surgeon, which he wrote, directed, and produced, won the Platinum Reel Award in the Nevada Category of the 2015 Nevada International Film Festival.

Jason Anthony Fisher has consumed an excellent book titled The Independent Filmmaker's Guide to writing a business plan for investors, which was written by his friend Gabriel Campisi, who is yet another resource of wisdom for Jason.
In addition to the professional training Jason received from his screenwriting mentors, which include classroom courses, listed in his above biography, he has consumed countless books and DVDS, and taken several courses, to further his craft. Among some of those books are: Your screenplay sucks: 100 ways to make it great by William M. Akers, The Hollywood Standard by Christopher Riley, Screenplay the foundations of screenwriting by Syd Field, and Stephen King's On Writing: A memoir of the craft.
Jason's film, Plea or Not to Plea, which he conceived, wrote, produced, and executive produced, earned the best local (State of Georgia) film nominee at the 3rd annual Marietta International Film Festival in 2017.
