9 January 2017 1:01 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

It doesn't matter how much critics don't seem to like the Transformers movies, it is one of the most successful franchises of all time and the next installment is coming out later this year. Mark Wahlberg will be reprising his role as Cade Yeager from Transformers: Age of Extinction in Transformers 5. Now he has given a little bit of insight into the movie and his character in it.

USA Today recently released a preview of some of the biggest upcoming movies of 2017 and naturally, Transformers: The Last Knight made the list. We don't know a lot about how Cade Yeager will factor into this new movie, but Mark Wahlberg says that this latest installment is "really smart and different." He will be in the thick of it and participating in a whole lot of action during the course of Transformers: The Last Knight. Mark Wahlberg talked a bit about »

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Photo: Is Mark Wahlberg On Cybertron?

9 January 2017 1:00 PM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

Transformers: The Last Knight promises to take the franchise to all sorts of places it’s never been before, like Arthurian Britain and Nazi-era Germany. But one of the film’s most exciting locations looks to be entirely off-world. A new high-res still from Transformers: The Last Knight shows Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and Vivian Wembley (Laura Haddock) poking […]

Seductive New Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Image, And Various Other New Movie Stills

Ok, so maybe this pic would be more seductive, at least to me, if it was Gamora's head in the forefront of the image as opposed to Drax's fat noggin. Instead, Star-Lord is giving much more of an incredulous look, perhaps Drax is pondering the metaphorical meaning of life, maybe he is wondering how a planet could also be a father, or it's possible he decided that everyone is responsible for killing his family so everyone must die. Either way, more and more images of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 are trickling in and I'll take what I can get concerning one of my favorite franchises of all time.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is the sequel to Guardians Of The Galaxy, a surprise megahit in the Marvel superfranchise, that focuses on a group of space "pirates" turned heroes, the aftermath of Ronin's defeat, and the relationship with »

Mark Wahlberg Talks Emotion And Humor Of Transformers: The Last Knight As New Still Arrives

9 January 2017 10:04 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Among its approximately massive 2017 preview, USA Today has premiered a moody still for Transformers: The Last Knight. If moving pictures are more your thing, don’t fret; there’s also a brand new TV spot to peruse up above.

Entitled “Worlds Collide” the promo culminates with that shocking battle scene between Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, in which the latter draws his sword against his long-time ally. The Last Knight‘s marketing campaign has been teasing the fall of an icon, but there’s surely more going on here than meets the eye.

As for the picture, it features both Mark Wahlberg, who first appeared as Cade Yeager in Age of Extinction, and franchise newcomer Laura Haddock as Vivian. Equipped with climbing equipment, the two are seen here exploring a cavernous opening, which could well hold ties to the Arthurian story beats of Transformers: The Last Knight. When quizzed about his character of Yeager, »

Mark Wahlberg also commented on the novelty of the numerous big-budget action sequences, noting, “It’s not as cool as it would be had I been 25. At 45, it’s all pretty strenuous, but I really like that Michael gives me freedom to make the character my own, improvising and bring a lot of humor and elevate the emotion”.

Optimus Goes Evil in First Transformers: The Last Knight TV Spot

7 January 2017 12:54 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The first Transformers: The Last Knight TV spot is just 14 seconds in length, but it sets up the premise of this latest sequel succinctly. Optimus Prime has gone rogue. He's angry. And not above killing his own. The latest video from the Paramount sequel asks fans to choose a side. That might not be so hard after witnessing Optimus kill his longtime friend and comrade in the Autobots army Bumblebee, in what is one of the most shocking franchise twists to date.

Paramount released the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight at the end of 2016. And its final scene, where Optimus Prime tries to kill Bumblebee, had everyone in awe. While there are theories as to why this is happening, we won't have an official answer until the movie hits theaters on June 23, 2017. A poster released shortly after the trailer showed Bumblebee's arm lying slightly in frame, with »
