Mini Biography

Adrian Picardi born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the tender age of 19 he graduated from the Los Angeles Film School. His first student film achieved the Grand Prize Award at a film festival hosted by an award winning composer where his film was judged by today's working professionals in the film industry. His film was later screened at the Sundance Film Festival 2007, also achieved at 19 years of age. He continued his career now working as a full-time editor in Television along with directing and editing his own personal projects.

He has edited numerous music videos that have been aired on networks such as MTV before the age of 20. Along with Directing and Editing he is also his own Director of Photography. Slowly the media picked up on his success and started publishing his interesting stories. The most recent story, a section in the Los Angeles Times, how someone at the age of 19 could make more than $23,000 in a span of 8 months from the internet.

Along with the LAtimes, Picardi's work has been featured in other newspapers, websites, and magazines such as Los Angeles Magazine. Currently, Picardi has joined a team of creative and talented individuals to bring internet users a new revolutionary online series of webisodes called "The Resistance".

His second short, "His Final Hit" placed into the top ten finalists of the IFC Film "Assassin's Creed" Film Contest. The piece is an ambitious action spectacle complete with special effects, all done for a mind-boggling budget of $150.

Won the "Audience Award" for Myspace's John Woo Film Tribute contest in 2007 for the Chow Yun Fat videogame "Stranglehold". John Woo personally viewed the film.

Featured on MTVu.com as "Best Filmmaker on Campus" in December 2007.
