Prior to wrestling, he had a career in music performing as the drummer in bands such as Image, Who's Laughing Now, and Bugsy. In 1998, Bugsy received a nomination for Best Ska-Punk Act at the Long Island Music Awards (run by Robbie Woliver). As Brimstone, he was given the honor of being a presenter at the awards ceremony.
