Mini Biography

Eric Martinez is an actor out of Albuquerque, New Mexico that is quickly becoming a recognizable face in the industry. After bit parts in the movies "Ghost of Mars" w/Ice Cube and "Lockdown" w/Master P, Eric made his feature film debut along side Christian Slater and Jenna Dewan in "Love Lies Bleeding"; Eric has also worked on USA Network's "In Plain Sight" and "The Gift" which is due out later this year. Recently Eric began work on "Vicious Joe" where he is the lead role in the movie, he was also just picked up on ABC/Disneys "Scoundrels" due out later this year. There was also the highly publicized fight with HipHop Legend DMX; although the fight was canceled due to a no show on DMX's part, TMZ, MTV, BET and ESPN helped make it national news. Before getting back into film and TV, Eric was the CEO of Powermoves Entertainment an independent record label and management company that helped independent artist establish themselves. In the music industry Eric made his mark speaking on music panels all over the country. He has been a guest panelist on many of the country's premier music conferences including, The Billboard Music Awards, How Can I Be Down Music Conference, The Powers of Music, Sha Money's The One Stop Shop Conference and Southwest Music Fest. He also has been featured in several magazines such as XXL, Billboard, Latin Star Magazine, Urban Latino and Lowrider. Eric has become a force in the music and film industry earning him the nickname "Latino Diddy". This Latino entrepreneur/actor founded Powermoves Entertainment 10 years ago and set a precedence in the entertainment industry as a leading force! Eric was also recently named one of the founding stars as an actor and an advocate for Childhood Obesity for the new Urban Convergence Festival along side Kanye West, Jay Z, The Temptations, Tony Touch, Stevie Wonder, Fergie, The Black Eyed Peas, Master P and many, many more. Recently Eric hosted Latino Fashion Week in Chicago and picked up celebrity trainer to the stars' Rob Garcia, Mr. Garcia has trained Oscar De La Hoya and most recently Kim Kardashian for a celebrity boxing match on "Keeping up with the Kardashians". Rob will prepare Eric for upcoming roles and photo shoots; Eric will also pair up with Rob in a new reality show that is in development based on finding The Next Great Heavyweight in America. Eric has a new clothing line in the works with his business partner Sean Amalla, the line will be named "Adrian Nairda", look for it in stores Summer 2010! Along with movie and T.V. roles, Eric will have a busy year making appearances as well as guest speaking and providing motivational speeches at schools and corporate events.
