Sony‘s untitled Karate Kid film is ready to make Ben Wang‘s heart go pitter-pat after adding Cruel Summer actress Sadie Stanley to the cast. Stanley plays the romantic lead opposite Ben Wang (American Born Chinese) in the forthcoming marital arts drama, which also stars Joshua Jackson, Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio.
Plot specifics remain a mystery, though we hear Sony will move the story to the East Coast and focus on a teen from China who finds identity and strength in martial arts. During his journey of self-discovery, Wang’s character meets a disciplined martial arts master. With Chan and Macchio both appearing in the film, there’s a chance Wang’s character could train under two teachers. Jonathan Entwistle

Hollywood has let down James Marsden by not giving him the leading-man career he deserves in romantic comedies. Marsden's role in 27 Dresses proves he should have been cast as the lead in more romcoms due to his talent and charisma. Marsden's recent TV success shows that now is the perfect time for Hollywood to redeem its rom-com mistake by casting him as a leading man.
A beloved romantic comedy from 2008 proves that Hollywood has let down James Marsden in a major way – but it’s not too late to rectify those mistakes and give Marsden his due. Marsden has always been a talented, charismatic actor that audiences have enjoyed watching. He played the iconic superhero Cyclops in the X-Men movies and breathed life into the historical icon that is John F. Kennedy in The Butler. He’s adept at both goofy comedic roles and nuanced dramatic roles, finding the truth in both of them.

The casting of Feyre Archeron in Hulu's A Court of Thorns and Roses TV show will be challenging due to her pivotal role and complex characteristics. Actresses such as Lucy Boynton, Jodie Comer, and Daisy Edgar-Jones could excel in capturing Feyre's loneliness, strength, and internal nuance. Other potential actresses, including Olivia Cooke, Peyton List, Joey King, Maddie Ziegler, Dafne Keen, Maude Apatow, and Saoirse Ronan, also possess qualities that align with Feyre's character.
Hulu has been quietly developing its A Court of Thorns and Roses TV show, and one big question book readers have is who might be cast in the role of protagonist Feyre Archeron. A Court of Thorns and Roses tells the story of Feyre, a human huntress in an impoverished family, who accidentally killed a Fae. As payment for her debt, she's taken across the Wall, the border separating humans and Fae, to live in the Fae realm.

The number of actors the Netflix TV series Cobra Kai has brought back to reprise their characters from the Karate Kid films has been very impressive. Not only do you have Ralph Macchio and William Zabka back as Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence, but there’s also Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith as villains John Kreese and Terry Silver, Yuji Okumoto and Sean Kanan as villains-turned-allies Chozen Toguchi and Mike Barnes; Ron Thomas, Rob Garrison, and Tony O’Dell as Johnny’s former Cobra Kai buddies; and appearances by Elisabeth Shue as Ali Mills, Tamlyn Tomita as Kumiko, and Robyn Lively as Jessica Andrews. They even brought Traci Toguchi back as Yuna, the “Girl Bell Ringer” she played in The Karate Kid Part II. But one actor who might not be returning from the films is Hilary Swank, who played Julie Pierce in the 1994 film The Next Karate Kid.

Star Trek: Picard season 1 introduced a new cast and focused on a dense mystery involving a Romulan conspiracy and a new robotic threat. Peyton List played Colonel Narissa, a member of the Zhat Vash, a fanatical sect of the Romulan Tal Shiar secret police. The Zhat Vash story was dropped from seasons 2 and 3, leading to unresolved questions about Narissa's brother and the Romulans' status. Peyton List's roles remain memorable.
Star Trek: Picard season 1 introduced a new cast including Peyton List, who played the Romulan villain Narissa. Set in 2399, nearly 15 years after Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) gave up command of the USS Enterprise-e, Picard season 1 brought Jean-Luc back to space on a new mission to save the galaxy. At the same time, Simon isn't the only one who is pining for Maddie. Wally, another stuck spirit in the afterlife at Split River High, is very much into her—he even got a kiss after homecoming.

Bunk’d, which is currently the Disney Channel’s longest running sitcom, is to conclude after the seventh series.
From early 2000s classics like Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire to The Suite Life franchise, That’s So Raven and the hugely succesful Hannah Montana (which was spun off into feature film Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009), Disney’s formula of well cast, high concept sitcoms has put it at the top of the tween sitcom tree for several decades.
One of its more recent successes was Jessie, which provided a star vehicle for Debby Ryan after several years in The Suite Life On Deck.
The show saw Ryan play the titular character, who acted as a nanny for three kids – Zuri, Ravi, Luke and Emma, played by Skai Jackson, Karen Brar, Cameron Boyce and Peyton List, respectively. Jessie grew into one of Dusney’s most popular shows and eventually ran from 2011 to 2015.

Season 1 finale revealed that Maddie is not dead but possessed by Janet, leaving the spirits confused about the true nature of their existence and Mr. Martin's involvement. There may be other spirits whose bodies have been taken, altering their memories and leaving them unaware of their true state, similar to Maddie. Maddie's best friend Simon questions his sanity as he is the only one who can see and communicate with her, raising doubts about Maddie's reality and their connection.

Much like Daniel Larusso went from underdog to All-Valley karate champion, "Cobra Kai" has gone from a legasequel no one asked for or had too much faith in, to one of Netflix's biggest hits. The TV sequel to "Karate Kid" became a shining beacon amidst the fast-decaying YouTube Red streaming platform, offering a thrilling, compelling, and endlessly watchable story with complex characters and a fascinating story of legacy, rivalry, and generational patterns. All of this wrapped in a juicy karate-themed soap opera where everything and everyone revolved around the martial art.
When the show made the jump to Netflix, it became the closest thing to a live-action anime that we've got. Somehow, just like the "John Wick" movies revealed that the entire planet revolves around hitmen, "Cobra Kai" does the same with karate. Spoilers are ahead for School Spirits season 1.
Janet might have accidentally possessed Maddie's body and didn't know what she was doing, opening the door to an unexpected team-up between the two characters. Mr. Martin may be manipulating Janet, positioning him to be the main villain of School Spirits. There may be more to Sandra Nears than meets the eye, and tying her intot the show's central supernatural story would make a lot of sense.
Given the show's season-one finale twist, it seems like only the wildest theories about what might happen in School Spirits season 2 could be true. The Paramount+ series, which has recently found a second life on Netflix, centers on Maddie Nears (Peyton List), a teenager who finds herself inexplicably stuck in the afterlife. With the help of other teen spirits who've yet to move on, Maddie learns the ins-and-outs of being in the afterlife, all while trying to solve her (apparent) murder.
