Bruce Willis Plays Knock-Knock In Latest Die Hard TV Spot

30 December 2012 12:28 PM, PST | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Someone recently asked which film I most anticipated in 2013. Though I didn.t go with it as my ultimate selection, A Good Day to Die Hard received significant consideration. Any time Bruce Willis decides to step back into the bare-knuckled, blue-collar persona of beleaguered cop John McClane, I.m willing to check in and see if the director and screenwriters hired for the task of bringing the franchise back to the glory days of the initial film (and, yes, it.s immediate sequel). It.s good to see glimpses of McClane.s trademark sarcasm in this latest TV spot, which continues to sell the Valentine.s Day release date . and the explosions. Watch it below: The premise, as you likely know, has McClane flying to Moscow to bail his son, John Jr. (Jai Courtney) out of a Russian prison. What they encounter, instead, is an elaborate nuclear plot that would »

Jack Reacher Review

28 December 2012 12:57 AM, PST | RealBollywood.com | See recent RealBollywood news »

Film: "Jack Reacher"; Cast: Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Robert Duvall, Richard Jenkins, Werner Herzog, David Oyelowo and Jai Courtney; Director: Christopher McQuarrie; Rating: **1/2 - - Cruise-ing a whodunnit.

Though the timing of the release of "Jack Reacher" is a bit skewed this Christmas season, this mystery thriller is surprisingly a decent whodunit with a moral code.

The film begins with an awesome video game-inspired opening sequence -- a mysterious lone gunman fires six shots that leave five dead in front of Pnc Park in Pittsburgh in broad daylight. The crime scene is strewn with compelling evidence, all pointing to a former army sniper, James Barr with a blemished mental health record. But the suspect. »

We shared a new TV spot for A Good Day to Die Hard yesterday and today brings another one, which gives a little more attention to John McClane's son Jack, played by Spartacus' Jai Courtney. Directed by John Moore, A Good Day to Die Hard will have John McClane (Willis) headed over to Russia to help his son Jack when he gets into some trouble. The TV spot below begins with McClane being welcomed to Russia. Watch: Second TV Spot For A Good Day To Die Hard

27 December 2012 10:20 AM, PST | Filmofilia | See recent Filmofilia news »

Earlier today, the first TV spot for the fifth round for Bruce Willis as John McClane in A Good Day to Die Hard was released, and now a second television spot popped up.

As we have already mentioned, this time his son Jack (Jai Courtney) has gotten in a little bit of trouble in Russia. Both TV spots mostly contain footage from previous trailers, but there’s some cool new action shots. Or put another way, McClane is making insurance companies go out of business once again, only this time in capitalist Mother Russia.

The John Moore-directed actioner also stars Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir (below), Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke and Anne Vyalitsyna.

Written by Skip Woods the film is set to open your heart for Valentine’s Day on February 14th, 2013.

Two Explosive TV Spots for a Good Day to Die Hard Start off the New Year Right

27 December 2012 8:51 AM, PST | Beyond Hollywood | See recent Beyond Hollywood news »

Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney, as father and son McClanes, take no prisoners in “A Good Day to Die Hard”, kicking off the New Year in fine style. Okay, so it’s a month after the new years. Close enough. Anyways, the John Moore-directed film looks like, ahem, a blast. I’ll grant you that the whole “giving him a kid to rejuvenate the series” is such a cliche, but at least they didn’t give McClane some annoying brat of a teenage son. McClane Jr. is all grown up and playing a spy in this one. Check out the first two TV spots for “A Good Day to Die Hard” in all their explosive glory. Bruce Willis is back as iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, who for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack (Jai Courtney) — unaware »

Updated With Second Spot: It’s ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’ With New TV Spots!

27 December 2012 1:15 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

Unlike a lot of people, I quite enjoyed the last outing for world-weary (and world saving) cop John McClane. Despite the inclusion of ‘style-over-substance’ director Len Wiseman, having Bruce Willis encounter another “very bad day” alongside beauties Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maggie Q – not to forget the ever-awesome Timothy OlyphantDie Hard 4.0 (aka Live Free Or Die Hard) had its moments and most of them were fun!

A Good Day To Die Hard will see McClane venture to foreign territory for the first time. Hoping to patch things up with son Jack (an undercover agent in Moscow), Willis comes up against more ruthless terrorists in the Russian capital. Hopefully, two McClane’s will be better than one and certainly following the recent release of the brilliant Jack Reacher, Jai Courtney (who takes the role of young Jack) is going to be one to watch!
