American Idol winner Phillip Phillips was forced to postpone kidney surgery yesterday. The singer has a congenital kidney condition and has already undergone eight surgeries because of it. The surgery on Tuesday was canceled because Phillips had a high fever due to a sinus infection.

Celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D has been dragged into a legal battle over a Hollywood Hills home destroyed by fire.
The reality TV star, who briefly dated Sandra Bullock's ex Jesse James, is being held accountable for the 2010 blaze, which claimed the life of her pet cat.
Lawyers representing State Farm Insurance have filed a lawsuit against Von D in Los Angeles, insisting she owes the company almost $1 million (£625,000).
According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ.com, the tattoo artist placed several lit candles in the house - and the candles then set the house on fire. »

TLC has ordered yet another tattoo reality show. The network announced Thursday that "Tattoo School," a reality show chronicling a two-week tattoo artist training course at Shreveport, Louisiana's World's Only Tattoo School, will be premiering Thurs., May 24 at 10 p.m. Et.
The participants in the show will range from disabled military veterans to high school dropouts, according to a press release from TLC. The students will be faced with tattoo challenges that mirror situations likely to arise in professional tattooing. The winner of the competition will receive a golden tattoo gun that can apparently last a lifetime.
The show, which first aired as a special in summer of 2011, has become controversial in the tattoo community. Some professional tattoo artists have bristled at the notion that two weeks worth of training is enough to enter the profession.

This has got to be one of the creepiest things ever. TMZ just revealed that Kat Von D received an extremely disturbing phone call from a crazed fan or deranged prankster on Monday night. The person called her home and began asking her a series of personal questions and then hung up, only to follow up with a text message on her cell phone. Kat, being under the impression that the individual was on her premises, call the cops around 10:45 p.m.
All these details were actually revealed by the police themselves as they came swarming in en masse. They really got the whole “to serve and protect” deal down, as not only did they show up in a fleet of cars, but they actual sent a helicopter to scour the neighborhood aerially.
