Deadline reports that Katie Cassidy (Supernatural, Taken) , picture center above, has signed on to topline in the film about “Suki, a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using “The Siamese Burn,” an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being “cured,” she’s haunted by a thought… what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?”

'The Big Bang Theory' finale: Who will walk down the aisle next?

10 May 2012 6:30 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Despite all the obstacles in their way, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) got hitched on Thursday (May 10). "The Big Bang Theory" wedding was an intimate affair with some very nice touches, especially the group officiation and the satellite photography.

While one couple has wed, there's still potential for a lot more love on the show. Although Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) heat-of-the-moment proposal to Penny (Kaley Cuoco) didn't land quite like he'd hoped, it's clear that those two aren't done yet. And then, in a show of emotion atypical for Sheldon (Jim Parsons), he held hands (gasp!) with Amy (Mayim Bialik) as they watched Howard get blasted into space.

So this got us thinking, which nerd couple might be the next to get hitched? Could Penny and Leonard really make it together? Perhaps Sheldon will realize he has feelings after all, and Amy might be the one for him? Or »

Last Night on Late Night: Morgan Spurlock Was Escorted Onstage by Stormtroopers

19 April 2012 11:00 PM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Morgan Spurlock, director of the geeky doc, Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope, was fittingly escorted onstage by a pair of stormtroopers — not the originals, but the "even more evil" clones. Plus: Think Like a Man's Gabrielle Union, while annoyed by her superficial Tsa My Little Pony–style pet-down, was maddened by the behind-her-back jokes while she was putting herself back together; and Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23's Krysten Ritter, and Andy Richter contemplated the housewarming gift that James Van Der Beek had given Ritter: a jar of stinky, brown wolf urine for repelling the coyotes from her tiny dog. 'The Big Bang Theory': How do you solve a problem like Raj Koothrappali?

30 March 2012 6:00 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

I would love to be spending this time celebrating Leonard Nimoy’s fabulous guest spot on last night’s The Big Bang Theory. With Nimoy retired from on-camera acting, it was an inspired decision to have him play the voice of Sheldon’s Spock action figure, helping his owner through the thorny moral dilemma of whether to play with a vintage Star Trek toy, and what to do after Sheldon (Jim Parsons) does play with it — and it breaks. Placing Spock in various pensive and expressive poses as he guided and scolded Sheldon had me giggling throughout the episode. Better yet, »

'Big Bang Theory': The tell-tale Spock

29 March 2012 7:09 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Who new that Dr. Sheldon Cooper has just a little bit of a conscience? It's five years into "The Big Bang Theory" and it looks like we're learning more and more about the genius every day.

[Spoiler Alert]

After years of sponging off of her neighbors, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) decides to do a nice thing and get Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) a present they'll each appreciate - a classic "Star Trek" transporter room toy.

Being the geeks they are, they refuse to open the gifts as it would immediately devalue them. But curiosity gets the better of Sheldon after "Action Figure Spock," voiced by Leonard Nimoy, tells him in a dream that it would be illogical to not play with his present. This goes well until the transporter quickly breaks. Sheldon is now faced with the conundrum of what to do next.

He quickly decides to swap the toy »

Hawking Lands the The Big Bang Theory

13 March 2012 11:07 AM, PDT | Boomtron | See recent Boomtron news »

The king of all theoretical physicists is coming to the set of The Big Bang Theory. Stephen Hawking is a hero the Jim Parsons character, the quirky Sheldon Cooper, much like Leonard Nimoy, who is also finally coming to the hit comedy. It is definitely Shelly’s lucky year!

TV Line had the news about Hawking’s upcoming, confirmed guest appearance. Details are being kept pretty hush hush, and no one can cast blame there. The April 5 show may be fairly epic.

As for the world’ most famous Vulcan actor, Mr. Nimoy is set to appear in the March 29th episode. Did I say appear? I should say he’ll be heard, not seen. It is his voice that will make it’s Big Bang Theory debut when Spock speaks to Sheldon in a dream. One can only imagine how Shelly will react.

Nabbing Hawking is quite an accomplishment for CBS. »
