The orchestra cut her off right as she was to begin her Oscar acceptance speech after Glen Hansard gave his when they won Best Original Song at the 2008 Oscar Awards. The show's producer, Gilbert Cates, told Jon Stewart during the commercial break to have Irglova come back out and, in an Oscar first, be given a second chance to give her acceptance speech.
