It was formed during the first season of the project "Fabrika zvezd" (2002) (analogue of Star Academy (2001)) and named after it. The group also included Mariya Alalykina at first, but she left after the first video of "Fabrika" ("Pro lyubov") was made, deciding to devote herself to her studies.
