Dennis was born in Los Angeles and took a television and radio class at John Glenn High school at his mom's suggestion and that started it for him. In college he started as a Phys ed major then auditioned for a play and got the role. Was so interested and excited how it made him feel to act he changed his major to Theatre Arts. He played Big Julie in Guys and Dolls in a wheel chair after tearing his ACL during a rehearsal jumping up and spinning to roll the dice. He came down on his knee. Played roles at LaMirada Civic Theatre for two years then starting training to become an actor at South Coast Actors Theatre, Los Angels Actors Theatre run by Richard Jordan and Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute overseeing the next few years. Has worked in independent films, commercials and TV work while raising a family in the midwest.
