Was an Acting Apprentice at the world-renowned Actor's Theatre of Louisville in 2001.

Was the afro-sporting "Inventor" of Movietickets.com in a national commercial campaign whose slogan was "All Hail The Geek." The billboards and posters can still be seen all across the country.

Performed in the premiere workshop production of Ain't No Mountain High Enough at the Mark Taper Forum with Cleavant Derricks. The musical was based on the work of Motown creator Berry Gordy and directed by Kenny Leon (known for directing Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs in the Broadway production of A Raisin In The Sun.)

Can be heard on the Concept CD for the musical Holmes!, which is available at all Virgin Megastores. The musical is based on Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.

His first west-coast stage appearance was in Split!, directed by well-known actor Ron Canada.

Was a member of the celebrity cast of Howard Ashman's musical "Dreamstuff", alongside Eden Espinosa, Fred Willard, Vicki Lewis and 'Luke MacFarlane'. The show was directed by his "Ugly Betty" (2006) co-star Michael Urie.
