He went to Rutgers University, but dropped out.
Before joining My Chemical Romance, he was in a band named Pencey Prep.
He has his own record label, book publishing, and clothing design company called Skeleton Crew.
He was the lead singer for the band Pencey Prep. They disbanded in 2002. Now as a side project to My Chemical Romance, he will be the frontman to Leathermouth.
He has twin daughters, Cherry and Lily, and a son, Miles, with his wife Jamia.
Frank has also played in the bands Hybrid, Sector 12, I am a Graveyar, and briefly with Give Up The Ghost.
His musical gift comes from both his father and grandfather, who were both musicians.
He suffered many illnesses as a child including Epstein-Barr virus, bronchitis, and ear infections.
