Dollface Comes Knocking In Latest Pic For The Strangers: Prey At Night

Dollface, Pin-up Girl and the Man in the Mask.

On paper, they sound like the worst superhero team in the history of superhero teams, but don’t let the frivolous nicknames fool you; together, The Strangers form the deadliest lineup in the land, and Bloody Disgusting had today revealed an exclusive close-up of Dollface.

Emma Bellomy has been cast in the role for The Strangers: Prey at Night, Johannes Roberts’ (47 Meters Down) horror sequel 10 years in the making. She’ll be flanked by The Walking Dead‘s Lea Enslin and Damian Maffei (Christmas with the Dead, Ghost Lake), who have agreed to play Pin-up Girl and the Man in the Mask, respectively, Prey at Night‘s other two psychopaths.

And make no mistake, they really are psychopaths. With only six weeks to go until release, and after Thursday’s horror showcase, Bloody Disgusting has doubled down on Pin-up Girl, who

The Strangers Sequel Claims to Be Based on a True Story, but Is It?

What makes a horror film even more chilling? Being told that it actually happened - or at least that it was inspired by true events. Just reading those words in a scary movie trailer sends chills down our spines. Maybe that's why The Strangers was such a massive success (or maybe it's because it was just plain scary). A new sequel is out this year, and it's also claiming to be based on a true story. In 2008, The Strangers was released, and it centered on a family who was tortured at their home for no reason other than they happened to be there. The first film was inspired by a childhood event that made director Bryan Bertino's mind wander, but the events depicted absolutely did not take place. Rather, he recalled burglars wandering his neighborhood looking for homes that weren't inhabited. Ten years later, The Strangers: Prey at Night is being released.

The Strangers: Prey At Night Secures R-Rating

It’s official: The Strangers: Prey at Night has received an R-rating this week from the MPAA for “horror violence and terror throughout, and for language.” Not that this should surprise anyone, mind you, given the content of the film and the fact that the original was also rated R, but it is nice to hear nonetheless. After all, in an age where so many horror movies are watered down for mass consumption, it’s exciting to see that they won’t be holding back here.

Set for a release on March 9th, this new effort will act as a soft reboot for the series, given that it’s made room for Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman and Martin Henderson, who play a family on a road trip. Unfortunately, though, things don’t go so well for them, as three dangerous psychos – Emma Bellomy as Dollface, Lea Enslin as

Strangers: Prey at Night Trailer #2 Brings Masked Maniacs Out of Hiding

The masked killers are back in a brand new trailer for Strangers: Prey at Night. The original Strangers was released nearly a decade ago and, despite being a financial success, never managed to get a sequel going. That all changes very soon, as The Strangers 2 is coming our way on March 9, 2018. Now, Aviron Pictures has released a brand new, full-length trailer for the horror sequel that doubles down on the tension.

This new trailer for The Strangers: Prey At Night is probably everything that fans of the original could hope for. It keeps the premise familiar enough, with three very unsettling murderers wearing masks terrorizing an unsuspecting group of people. Yet, this time, it's an entire family in a very different setting at a secluded trailer park. As for the footage itself? It's pretty slick and incredibly intense. There's a creaky swing set, which is always a sign of bad

The Strangers: Prey At Night Debuts Chilling Second Trailer

“Never underestimate the kindness of strangers.”

It’s going on 10 years since the arrival of Bryan Bertino’s cult horror hit, The Strangers, but in only a few weeks’ time, those masked hoodlums – better known as Dollface, Pin-Up Girl and the Man in the Mask – will return to haunt our dreams.

That’s right, The Strangers: Prey At Night is now beginning to rear its big, ugly head over the horizon, and in a last-ditch attempt to drum up excitement, Fandango has today premiered the sequel’s chilling second trailer. It’s a little longer than the first (122 seconds over the original, 60-second preview), so if you’re wanting to preserve every ounce of tension – don’t forget about the jump scares, either! – until March 9th, perhaps it’s best to skip this one for the time being?

Granted, it’s fairly light on story details, as we see Christina Hendricks

The Strangers: Prey at Night Brings More Masked Terror in these Two Stills

Tagline: "Let Us Prey." A couple of new stills have been released for the second The Strangers film. The first film released in 2008. The Strangers: Prey at Night, which has been influenced by the first film, is set for a March theatrical release. The two stills show more characters, one played by Christina Hendricks and the other by Bailee Madison. A masked villain turns up, while more terror lays just around the corner. As well, a second poster has been released and it can be found here. Bryan Bertino wrote and directed the first film, based on some of his real life experiences. In this second film, Bertino has written the script, with Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) directing. The Strangers: Prey at Night does look like a decent chiller, with more details coming soon as the film reaches its March 9th release date. Release Date: March 9th, 2018 (Theatrical). Director: Johannes Roberts.

The Strangers: Prey At Night new trailer

Joseph Baxter Jan 8, 2018

Horror sequel The Strangers: Prey At Night stars Christina Hendricks, and has a brand new trailer...

The Strangers arrived in 2008 as an insular, tonally-terrifying, horror film outing, centering on a young couple (Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman,) who are stalked in her remotely-located childhood summer home by three masked assailants. While it divided audiences, the film’s back-to-basics plot on a microscopic $9 million budget proved to be a successful formula, grossing $82.39 million worldwide.

Now, nearly a decade later, after having crossed major dilatory hurdles, the long-awaited sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night, is nigh. And the latest trailer for the film has landed...

Here's the first trailer too, that arrived back in November...

After landing distribution rights to the cult horror sequel, one which is coming by way of Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down), Aviron has today premiered the blood-curdling first teaser for The Strangers: Prey At Night.

Set against a slowed and downright haunting version of “I Think We’re Alone Now,” this footage dials the tension up to 11, as a group of masked loons preys on an unsuspecting family soon after their road trip takes a dangerous turn. And so, after some bickering over their current predicament, things go from bad to worse, and it isn’t long before Dollface, Pin-Up Girl and the Man in the Mask begin their cruel mind games.

Strangers 2 First Look, Release Date and Title Revealed
For years we've heard about a potential sequel to The Strangers, a movie that many consider to be one of the best home invasion horror movies ever made. Now, The Strangers 2 is finally makings its way to theaters. Not only that, but the sequel has an official title and release date. The Strangers was made for just $9 million and grossed $82 million worldwide.

Here’s Your First Look At The Strangers 2

Ten years is a lifetime in the film industry.

To put that into perspective, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was viewed as little more than wishful thinking back in 2007, when Jon Favreau and the Powers That Be quietly began plotting an Iron Man post-credits scene involving a certain Nick Fury. Twelve months later, Favreau’s standalone pic launched Robert Downey Jr.’s career into the stratosphere and the rest is history. But 2008 also witnessed the release of a lesser-known horror pic. Its name? The Strangers.

Headed up by Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, the home invasion thriller became something of a cult hit nine years ago and now, after enduring a prolonged spell in pre-production, The Strangers 2 is officially on the cards. Former Mad Men star Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison and Lewis Pullman have all climbed aboard to anchor the horror sequel, while Johannes Roberts of 47 Meters Down fame is at the helm,

Exclusive: From 'Undressed' to 'StartUp,' a Career Retrospective With Adam Brody
For better or worse, Adam Brody will always be remembered as Seth Cohen from The O.C. The affable and awkward teen is easy to find inside the weathered and wiser 37-year-old Brody, but the San Diego native might never be able to shake his early-aughts pop culture iconography. Despite that infamous role, Brody has had a pretty consistent career over the last two decades, playing opposite Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, being directed by famed playwright Neil Labute and making guest appearances on beloved TV shows like House of Lies and The League. This month, he’s in the buddy comedy Big Bear, where he gets to sport a pretty mean mustache, and returns with the second season of StartUp on Crackle.

With two such diverse roles coming out in the same month and nostalgia for shows like Gilmore Girls and The O.C. at an all-time high, Brody sits down
