Now that's what we call a sister act. Vanessa Hudgens got all dressed up to celebrate her sister Stella Hudgens's 18th birthday in Hollywood Saturday. Actually, make that dressed down? At the boisterous bash, which was held at Beacher's Madhouse, the duo pulled out all the stops by showing up in matching Bollywood-themed costumes that flashed both ample flesh and a healthy dose of chutzpah. Vanessa, 21, donned a trinket-lined olive frock whose floor-length skirt played off against the outfit's skimpy top. Stella, meanwhile, opted for a blinged-out black hot-pants number. Their accessory of choice? Yellow rubber duckies. Go figure. »
Jennifer Lawrence might be the star of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," but Kylie Jenner gave Katniss a run for her money on the red carpet Monday night at the premiere! The reality starlet donned a figure-hugging gray dress, black ankle boots and a bold bordeaux lip. The 16-year-old seems to be following in the footsteps of sisters Kim and Khloe, rocking honey-blonde highlights in her hair. She kept her locks down with tousled beach waves.Khloe Kardashian recently admitted that her younger half-sisters are fast becoming the most stylish members of the family!Speaking at the at the launch party for the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy at London's Natural History Museum this week, Khloe told Bang Showbiz: '"I do give Kendall and Kylie advice, but they really give me style tips too now, they're so chic and trendy. Sheer madness!Jennifer Lawrence was definitely the woman of the hour at last night's premiere of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in Los Angeles -- hitting the red carpet in a see-thru Dior Haute Couture gown that accentuated her impressive physique and killer legs. And while her new pixie cut has been hit or miss with its styling for previous premieres, she definitely got it right this time. We love how it looks on her here. She finished her look with a pink lip, black belt, Brian Atwood heels, Anita Ko jewelry and a Roger Vivier clutch. The actress only posed for photos and signed autographs for fans at the premiere, skipping the press line entirely. She was reportedly sick. J-Law was joined on the red carpet by costars Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz and more. Woody Harrelson also showed up at the last moment, waiting to »

The script is being written by Audrey Wells (The Game Plan, Under The Tuscan Sun) and the film will tell the story of a father in the city of New York whose love for his estranged daughter living overseas is so strong that it causes the island of Manhattan to break free from New York City and float across the Atlantic towards her.
This seems to be a safe bet for Will Smith whose career has taken a major dive in recent years, with his most recent movie After Earth (which also starred Jaden Smith) disappointing at the box office. And if Willow Smith isn't cast in this I'll be surprised. »

Director Shawn Levy might be going back to the well with Night at the Museum 3, with Ben Stiller and Robin Williams returning and "Downton Abbey" star Dan Stevens causing trouble as Lancelot somehow, but he's got a big original project on the horizon with a huge star. Deadline reports Levy will develop and direct The City That Sailed, and Will Smith is still attached to star and produce through his Overbrook Entertainment banner. Fox, where Levy's 21 Laps production company calls home, picked up the script in 2006 with Andrew Niccol writing, but now Audrey Wells (Under the Tuscan Sun, The Kid) will write it. For those just joining us, the project follows a New York street magician whose daughter lives in England. While exploring a lighthouse, the girl (likely not Willow Smith since she's probably too old for the role now) discovers a magic room and wishes to be reunited with her father, »

One of a handful of unrealized projects on Will Smith's slate - a project that was first announced way back in 2009 - is apparently now finally moving forward. Back then, Francis Lawrence (who previously directed Smith in I Am Legend) was attached to direct the film, titled The City That Sailed, which follows the director of Homeland Security in New York City (Smith), whose daughter (we assumed Willow Smith would likely play the part at the time, but maybe not anymore), because of family circumstances, lives in Spain with her mother. Apparently, mother and father are divorced. Wanting to reunite her father and mother, the little girl makes a wish »

It’s been clear from the get-go that the Will Smith and Jay Z-produced remake of Annie is not your daddy’s Little Orphan Annie musical—unless you’re Willow Smith, and even then you’re like, “No thanks, daddy. I’d rather quietly contemplate the stark inevitability of adolescence than star in a movie about how your friend sampled ‘Hard Knock Life’ one time.” There’s the fact that it is, again, produced by Will Smith and Jay Z, that Jamie Foxx’s Daddy Warbucks will be renamed “Benjamin Stacks,” to better relate to today’s hip-hoppin’ youth, and »
Remember the kid from the "Just the Two of Us" music video? Well, Trey Smith just turned 21!Over the weekend, Will Smith celebrated his oldest son's birthday with one giant family celebration in Las Vegas. Will and Trey were joined by Trey's mother Sheree Zampino, Will's wife Jada-Pinkett Smith and their two children, Jaden and Willow Smith. Trey also showed off his DJ skills at Lavo nightclub, as Will danced alongside him in the DJ booth. Later in the night, the Smith family and their closest friends gathered to sing "Happy Birthday" to the 21-year-old. Onlookers say that Will and Jada seemed to be in great spirits as well, as they were spotted engaging in intimate chats, laughing and even dancing together throughout the various celebrations. That's one way to shut down those affair rumors! It's nice to see the famous family spending some quality time together, and we think »

Is Jada Pinkett Smith taking style tips from Miley Cyrus? The actress showed off her drastic new 'do on Monday after she touched down at Lax in Los Angeles. Jada's hair is completely buzzed on the sides and short on top, which she styled slicked back. The mother-of-two went for a rocker look to match her edgy haircut -- sporting jeans, biker boots, a red flannel and a black blazer at the airport. Mrs. Will Smith and daughter Willow Smith were on their way back home after spending some time together in Paris, France. Honestly, it's not our favorite style on the usually-stunning 42 year old. We prefer the actress with longer locks. But what do you think of Jada's new 'do? Tell toofab in the comment section below, and click "Launch Gallery" above to see more stars with shaved heads! Originally, the iconic role of Annie was set aside for Willow Smith, but for whatever reason she decided against it. Rumor has it that the project took a while longer than expected to be green-lit, at which time she was too old. The role is now comfortably in the hands of Oscar nominated Quvenzhané Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild).
Wallis is joined by an A-list cast. Jamie Foxx will star as Benjamin Stacks, a variation of Daddy Warbucks who was played by Albert Finney in the original film. Cameron Diaz is taking on the role of Miss Hannigan, the cruel woman who runs the orphanage where Annie lives before being adopted. Stacks’ assistant Grace will be »

At one point it was Willow Smith who was attached to take on the title role, but by the time Annie finally made it into production Smith was too old for the part. Instead, Quvenzhane Wallis of Beasts of the Southern Wild is tackling the lead role with the Smiths - Will and Jada Pinkett - on board as producers. The contemporary adaptation of the classic tale is being directed by Easy A's Will Gluck, and Gluck's been working on the screenplay Aline Brosh McKenna rewrote after Emma Thompson had a crack at it.

Queen Latifah's talk show debuted just one day ago, on Monday, Sept. 16, but it's already a big success, ratings-wise. The first episode, which featured an appearance by actor John Travolta and a performance by Will Smith's daughter Willow Smith, posted the highest-rated daytime television premiere of the year, and the second highest-rated premiere since 2009, when The Dr. Oz Show made its debut. "It's incredibly exciting to see such a positive response to the show we've been crafting for the past year," Executive Producer Corin Nelson [...] »
Following largely positive reviews, Sony TV‘s The Queen Latifah Show opened with a 1.7 household rating yesterday and a 0.9/5 in women 25-54. That was double the delivery for the premiere of the other new daytime syndicated talk show this fall, Bethenny, last Monday. It was just shy of the debut of Arsenio Hall’s late-night syndication talker (1.9 Hh) last Monday and trailed last fall’s premiere of Katie (2.8, 1.6), but the talker hosted by actress-singer Queen Latifah improved its time periods and built on its lead-ins by double digits, especially in the key W25-54 demo where her show was up 80% from last year’s time period and up 29% from its lead-in. In households, the improvement was 31% from last year and 21% from the lead-in. The Queen Latifah Show opener, which featured guest John Travolta and performance by Willow Smith, daughter of the show’s executive producer Will Smith, did very well in the two top markets, »

The CBS O&O stations are among “Latifah’s” core launch group, and those outlets had something to celebrate Monday. In Gotham, “Latifah” improved on the station’s year-ago time period scores by 60%. In L. »

Is Jaden jaded? (Sorry, I had to.) In a new series of tweets, Will Smith’s son shared that he doesn’t think schooling is exactly necessary — and actually admits he thinks dropping out is a good thing.
“School Is The Tool To Brainwash The Youth,” Jaden tweeted out to his 4.5 million followers on Sept. 12. While we thought that was a little off — it was just the beginning.
That same day he added, “Education Is Rebellion,” and “If Newborn Babies Could Speak They Would Be The Most Intelligent Beings On Planet Earth.”
Well, tell us how you really feel, Jaden!
