Exclusive: John Legend and Emma Stone Can't Get Over Ryan Gosling's Real-Life Piano Skills in 'La La Land'

16 hours ago | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Ryan Gosling has grown accustomed to crowds of rowdy girls screaming his name, but his biggest fans might be his La La Land co-stars Emma Stone and John Legend. Et caught up with the film's cast in Los Angeles on Monday, where the stars couldn't say enough good things about Gosling.

Stone famously worked with Gosling in 2011's Crazy, Stupid, Love, in which the duo recreated the famous Dirty Dancing lift. They return to the dance floor in La La Land, so Et's Carly Steel asked Stone to describe Gosling's dance moves in three words.

‘Lovesong’ review [Lff 2016]

10 October 2016 10:26 PM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

Lovesong review: A breathtaking, emotional love story with another exceptional, stand-out performance from breakthrough actress Riley Keough.

Lovesong review by Paul Heath, Lff 2016

Sarah (Riley Keough) is a twenty-something mother who spends a considerable time alone bringing up her two-year-old daughter Jessie while her husband works away from long periods. Massively lonely, although effective in bringing up her young child pretty much on her, Sarah yearns for the return of her husband to save her from her isolation. When a childhood friend Mindy (Jena Malone) announces that she will be visiting, Sarah’s world suddenly changes and the two, along with the young Jessie, take to the road to pursue an adventure and to have some fun. What they hadn’t counted on is an immediate spark between them but before their romantic yearnings can develop into something more Mindy ups and leaves and returns to the city. Cut to »

Grace and Frankie Season 2 Review

6 May 2016 8:52 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Eight episodes were provided prior to broadcast.

“We don’t look a day over 350,” quips a deceptively sprightly Jane Fonda in the opening hours of Netflix’s sublime little coming-of-old-age dramedy Grace and Frankie. She’s mostly joking, of course, but her character’s steady growth towards some kind of understanding of a particularly hairy situation – her husband is leaving her, for her new best friend’s husband – is an arc that somehow hits a sweet spot in the show’s slow and steadily satisfying sophomore season.

Grace and Frankie, as a whole, finally feels willing to be what it should have been from the beginning: a non-patronizing ode to aging gracefully, with a heavy asterisk on your own definition of “graceful.” While amusing, season 1 slumped into some shticky shenanigans that belittled the cast’s insane charisma. Season 2 has a few similar dips – get ready for a lot of lube »

Jane Fonda on ‘Grace and Frankie’: TV Acting Is ‘An Entirely Different Animal’

2 May 2016 6:28 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The stars of Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie” celebrated new beginnings at its season two premiere Sunday afternoon with a screening at the Harmony Gold Theatre in West Hollywood.

The two episodes screened included the show’s usual mix of comedy and pathos. The series picks up moments after the end of season one as Sol (Sam Waterston) is returning home to Robert (Martin Sheen) after having sex with ex-wife Frankie (Lily Tomlin). No spoilers here, but as in life, a curveball is thrown that interrupts the main characters’ best laid plans.

Tomlin said she and longtime friend and costar Jane Fonda have gotten along famously for more than 35 years — without having “too many quarrels.”

Fonda, best known for her film roles, described television acting as foreign territory for her.

“Episodic TV is an entirely different animal: being in every episode, working very long hours, not entirely knowing the arc of the entire season, »
