- Sankha (Sankhajit Biswas) has studied Editing in Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, 2002-05. He has also participated in Berlinale Talent Campus, 2010. His editorial credits include both fiction and documentaries which are awarded and screened at major film festivals including Berlin, Totonto, BFI London, Moscow, Goteborg, Busan, Hong Kong, IDFA, DokLeipzig, Yamagata, CPH:DOX, Museum of Modern Arts (MOMA), New York, Asia Pacific Screen Awards, IFFI Goa and have won many National Film Awards of India. 'Dui Dhuranir Golpo / In-between Days', (2012) his debut film as director, is a critically acclaimed documentary on the transgender community of Kolkata. It has been shown at many major festivals around the globe including CPH:DOX, Yamagata and DocPoint Helsinki and won Best Documentary Award at Kolkata International Film Festival 2014. His second documentary, 'The Wind in the Maruwa Field' (2015) is produced by Films Division, Govt of India. The film is selected for the prestigious Indian Panorama 2016 and screened at IFFI Goa. 'Hridoy Bosot - A Home for My Heart', his first feature length documentary is premiered at Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2022 and won Jury's Special Mention at Signs Film Festival Kerala.
