Cinematographer Yael Shulman was born in Hollywood, California, in 1979. Raised and educated in New York City, Yael knew from a very young age that filmmaking would be her vocation in life.

She graduated from The School Of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2001 with a BFA in Film.

Yael has always strived to push the visual envelope in filmmaking. She continues to work with new and innovative techniques of telling a story through the camera lens.
