Zuzanna Szadkowski attended Barnard College in New York City and went on to earn an MFA in acting from The A.R.T. Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University/MXAT. She has worked in theater in New York City, regionally (directors Robert Woodruff, Sam Weisman, Marcus Stern), and in Warsaw and Moscow.

Zuzanna plays Dorota on the CW hit "Gossip Girl". Recently she performed with a record five all-star casts in Nora and Delia Ephron's "Love, Loss and What I Wore" at the Westside Theater Off Broadway.

Zuzanna Szadkowski, who went by Susan at that time, graduated in 1997 from R. Nelson Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She also attended Blackhawk Middle School. Zuzanna was a member of the Speech team and was the national champion in the Poetry reading category in 1997. She was voted "Most Likely To Be Famous" her senior year.
