20 September 2016 4:58 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

The eighth season of Modern Family premieres tomorrow night on ABC, and guess what? There is a good chance the show may be bringing on some more cast members -- of the small fry variety. Speaking at a pre-Emmy event, Producer Sally Young told Variety, to expect "...a major football player. A wedding. A love affair. And maybe more children." The cast includes: Ed O'Neill, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, and Rico Rodriguez. When pressed for more information, Young refused to elaborate, saying, "You'll have to watch." Since the show is in its eighth season, the children are getting a bit long in the tooth -- with the exception of Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) and Joe (Jeremy Maguire). Ariel Winter and Nolan Gould have one of the cutest friendships in Hollywood. On Friday, the Modern Family costars showed off their playful chemistry when they attended Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmys party in La. Ariel, who flaunted major cleavage in a black dress, kissed Nolan on the cheek for the cameras before heading inside and linking up with costar Rico Rodriguez. Also at the bash were Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who made their red carpet debut as expectant parents. This isn't the first time we've gotten a glimpse of the Modern Family brother and sister duo's close bond. Earlier this April, Ariel and Nolan jetted off to the Bahamas for a relaxing vacation, and the actress uploaded a photo of the two, writing, "TV family vacation at @atlantisresort." »

Just Cause 3’s Mech Land Assault Dlc Gets An Animated Launch Trailer

9 June 2016 8:36 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Just Cause 3‘s latest slice of Dlc may already be available for the game’s season pass holders, but the add-on content launches in full for all owners of the game tomorrow and to celebrate, publisher Square Enix has released a new launch trailer showing off all the cool things you can do in the gargantuan mech that can only be described as a construction vehicle on legs.

Preceding the destructive in-game footage though is a weird (but in a good way) cel-shaded short featuring Rico Rodriguez taking on a military-grade helicopter by way of literally jumping into it hundreds of feet in the air. As you do.

Anyway, see below for all the new features coming with Mech Land Assault.

Pilot two types of powerful Mech and drive them anywhere in Medici. Unleash the Mech’s Gravitational Remote Influence Projector or Grip to attract and hurl objects at your enemies. »

"Just Cause 3" Second Expansion Trailer

3 June 2016 4:06 PM, PDT | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

Avalanche Studios and Square Enix have posted the trailer for "Just Cause 3: Mech Land Assault," the upcoming second batch of the "Land, Air, and Sea" expansion pack Dlc for its open world action title "Just Cause 3".

In this one Rico Rodriguez goes to the new island of Lacrima, home to an abandoned research base and prison camp run by the mysterious Black Hand. Defended by huge powerful Mechs, Rico uses a Bavarium Power Core rifle to disable them and then take control of their powerful cannons and Grip Gravity Guns.

This expansion, which follows in the wake of the first "Sky Fortress," will be released on June 10th as a separate purchase, but is already available now for season pass holders. The third batch, the 'Sea' part of the title, has yet to be announced.

Just Cause 3 Mech Land Assault Trailer Is Like Metal Gear Solid On Steroids, Dlc Available Today For Season Pass Holders

3 June 2016 8:02 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Available to Season Pass owners from today, June 3, Square Enix has unleashed the riotous first trailer for Mech Land Assault, Just Cause 3‘s second of three mainline expansion packs.

Priced at $11.99 (€11.99/£9.49), the Dlc will ship Rico Rodriguez off to the idyllic island of Lacrima, where he hopes to expose the Black Hand and their abandoned eDEN research base. What our gun-toting adrenaline junkie doesn’t realize, though, is that the facility houses giant mechs, and today’s explosive snippet teases some of their gravity-defying abilities.

Like Metal Gear Solid on steroids, Rico is able to attract and hurl objects with the Gravitational Remote Influence Projector, resulting in some truly jaw-dropping fireworks.

Here’s an overview of Mech Land Assault:

Pilot two types of powerful Mech and drive them anywhere in Medici. Unleash the Mech’s Gravitational Remote Influence Projector or “Grip” to attract and hurl objects at your enemies. Jump »

"Just Cause" Film News This Summer

20 May 2016 8:02 PM, PDT | Dark Horizons | See recent Dark Horizons news »

After several years of no movement, it looks like a film adaptation of the "Just Cause" video game franchise is showing signs of life again.

The games follow Rico Rodriguez, aka the Scorpion, a black ops agent who carries out deadly missions for the U.S. government which revolve around destabilising rogue nations from within and turning the bad guys against each other.

The first game in the series was set on the fictional South American Republic of San Esperito, the second around the Indonesian islands of Panau, and the third the Mediterranean archipelago of Medici. Rodriguez frequently uses both a grappling hook and retractable parachute to perform death-defying stunts that utterly defy the laws of physics.

From hijacking fighter planes in mid-air to a chase/boss battle that takes place on the back of freshly launched nuclear missiles, the series earned strong reviews for its fun and impressive open world scale. »
