Alessio Valori is thirty-four. He was born in Florence. He lives between London and Italy. He’s been working in the film industry since 1999 and his works have been shown in cinemas and TV channels worldwide. His first film Rahil’s Secret was released in the USA, Canada and Puerto Rico from Vanguard Cinema, in 2007. His second full-length film, the controversial Shooting Silvio, was distributed by 20th Century Fox in 2008. In recent years, he has worked on a variety of international projects. “Girls on the Air”, a Documentary film shot in Afghanistan, has been nominated best film at IDFA 2009 in Amsterdam, distributed by Cinecittà Luce. “Daspu” filmed in Brazil has been broadcast by GNT Globosat. “One of us” an insight into the italian society has been broadcast by Arte TV. He shot web commercials for Ogilvy agency, Sony and Vogue online magazines. In 2011 he worked on three UK feature film “How to stop being a loser”,“Airborne” and “The Reverend”. In summer 2011, he has worked on a Documentary film about the oldest dynasty of circus in Italy “Circo Togni”. He works both on film and digital. Since 2009 he’s a member of AIC (Italian Association of Cinematographic Photography Authors).
