Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation To Host 28th Annual A Time For Heroes Family Festival

On Sunday, October 29, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (Egpaf) will celebrate its 28th annual A Time for Heroes family festival at Smashbox Studios in Culver City.

A Time for Heroes raises critical funds needed to end AIDS in children. Since its founding and the first A Time for Heroes festival 28 years ago, Egpaf has reached over 27 million women worldwide with lifesaving services. As always, there will be delicious food from top local eateries, games for all ages, and high-energy entertainment, including live music by Ocean Park Standoff.

Bradley Perry was working the graveyard shift at his family’s gas station in Box Elder County, Utah, when he was bound, beaten and stabbed to death in May 1984, in what authorities have reportedly described as a robbery gone wrong.

According to the Deseret News, customers at the gas station that morning described encountering an apparent station attendant around the time of Perry’s death — a man who gave them gas and sold them cigarettes.

Disney Xd Greenlights ‘Lab Rats’ and ‘Mighty Med’ Spinoff Series
Disney Xd has given a series order to “Lab Rats: Elite Force,” a spinoff merging the cable net’s sitcoms “Lab Rats: Bionic Island” and “Mighty Med.”

Both “Lab Rats” and “Mighty Med,” which are currently in the midst of airing new episodes, will end after their respective season runs are over, being succeeded by the “Elite Force” offshoot.

Lab Rats: Elite Force” will bring together the stars of the other two series, as they reprise their “Lab Rats” and “Mighty Med” roles.

Lab Rats” cast members Billy Unger and Kelli Berglund will star in the new show, returning as their characters Chase and Bree, while “Mighty Med” actors Bradley Steven Perry, Jake Short and Paris Berelc round out the cast as Kaz, Oliver and Skylar.

The spinoff will be set in the “Lab Rats” world, after the Mighty Med hospital is destroyed by a band of unknown super-villains.

Disney casting directors are beginning to audition actors for series regulars, recurring roles, guest starring roles, and day players. It’s time to wish a good night, good luck, and good bye to popular Disney property, Good Luck Charlie. They say all good things must come to an end and though I don’t know who they are, they are right.

It has been a superb four season run for the hit, Good Luck Charlie. The series and its stars have 100 episodes to their credit as well as a hit TV movie. Going out on a high note is not bad at all.

The Disney Channel gave the official axe with Deadline reporting on the exclusive. Production on the series will very soon, but though the cast will go their separate ways, you fans out there still get to see the new and now quite final episodes when they roll out and run through early 2014.
