- Mark Byrne was interviewed and his adventures used as source material for the children's book Rainbows of the Moon by Tom McCaughren the well known Irish Children's Story Writer.
- The rock band Paxton with the former 'Front' base player Randy Jordan released a song on their debut album "ginger's bowl' written by Randy Jordan called 'Which way do you go'.The song was written by Randy and inspired by Mark Byrne.
- The album 'Real World' by The Young Dubliners has a photograph in the liner notes taken by drummer Dave Inghram of MArk Byrne and contains a 'Thanks' salute from the band. Byrne had a long association with the band in the mid 2000's even appearing with them on live radio a number of times around the country as backing singer and percussion. Their show became synonymous for about two years with the eye catching spectacle of Byrnes rhythmic organic'cosmic dancing' which added a vibrant energy to the music and attracted many more fans both young and old.
