Eugene began acting at the age of 13 when he joined a local theater troupe in Harlem by the name of HOT Works. Eugene later enrolled in the Professional Peforming Arts School as a drama major. After graduating high school, Eugene was accepted to Marymount Manhattan College where he became a member of U-ACT (United Artists of Color Theater Co) led by president and friend Ishmail Wilson. With a passion for anything theatrical, Jones, born to Ivy Wilson and Eugene Jones Jr in 1987, has his eyes set on a bright future. Aside from acting, Eugene is an award-winning young playwright, a street popular spoken word artist, an accomplished poet, an aspiring musician as well as a future entrepreneur.

Attended the Professional Performing Arts HS in New York City from Sept 01- June 04. Focus in Drama.

Has become very close friends with two of his teachers. One from junior high school and one from high school. Both have helped him steer his life in the right direction.

Winner of the 2004 Write-A-Play NYC contest for his 10 minute play "Ode to Father", in which a young man discovers he has been killed at the hands of a drunk father with the help of a guardian angel. The guardian angel's character was based off of Tupac Shakur.

1/4th of the harlem hiphop/spokenword band 4REAL (4 Revolutionary Eclectic Artistic Lyricists). Other members include childhood friends.

A college production of Suzan Lori-Parks' play "Fucking A", in which he played the part of Monster, won best play of 2006 at Marymount Manhattan College.
