Luca De Luigi developed his view on filming musical events, from the arena of Verona, to Bayreuth in collaboration with German director
Werner Herzog, and then pursuing his career with a long series of live concert films shot at the Montreux Jazz festival including shows by
Miles Davis,
Herbie Hancock,
The Chieftains,
Jethro Tull,
Marc Cerrone, and
Gary Moore among many others. As an artisan video director for music and documentary films, he has also created cultural shows for the Swiss Italian language TV channel RSI Radiotelevisione Svizzera , and is working in parallel as a cinematographer, cameraman, and director for more than 25 years.
