Arturo Gatti was born on April 15, 1972 in Calabria, Italy. He was an actor, known for Breaking Point (2009), Welcome to the Family: A Mob Film (2013) and HBO Boxing After Dark (1996). He was married to Amanda Rodrigues. He died on July 11, 2009 in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Brazil.

Gatti's widow, Amanda Rodrigues, was taken into custody after contradictions in her interrogation and formally accused of murder. (12 July 2009).
Former IBF junior welterweight champion.
He was the former Junior Lightweight and Junior Welterweight Champion of the world.
Police released Gatti's widow, Amanda Rodrigues, after police ruled that Gatti killed himself. The coroner's report said Gatti may have killed himself as he was found "suspended and hanged" while not excluding the possibility that he was slain, but it said he also could have died in an unexplained accident, or could have committed suicide. (30 July 2009).
