Carl 'Bobo' Olson was born on July 11, 1928 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA as Carl Elmer Olson. He was an actor, known for Randy Turpin vs. Bobo Olson (1953), The Colgate Comedy Hour (1950) and Pabst Blue Ribbon Bouts (1948). He was married to Judith Crabbe and Helen Cavaco. He died on January 16, 2002 in Honolulu.

Had five children by Judith Crabbe while married to Helen Cavaco, who went public with Olson's double life in 1956.

Dyed his hair, got tattoos on his arms, and bought fake identification to appear 18 so that he could fight professionally.
World middleweight boxing champion, he won the belt from, then lost it to, Sugar Ray Robinson, whom he fought 4 times. Inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000.
Bo Belinsky was nicknamed after him. Olson was nicknamed "Bobo" by his sister.
