For us we always think of making records as if they are going to be heard on vinyl. We know they're not, in most cases, but for us it's still important.
I think we spend more and more time on every album concentrating on everyone's individual parts.
The simplification of the drums is something I took from John Bonham. Some of the most exciting stuff he does is when he leaves gaps.
