Jason Momoa, best known for his portrayal of Conan the Barbarian in last year’s reboot and as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, has joined the cast of David Hayter’s upcoming werewolf movie Wolves in a villainous role.

Wolves will be the directorial debut for Hayter, whose film credits include screenplays for X-Men and Watchmen. Of course, most are familiar with his legendary performance as Solid Snake in the Metal Gear series.

Momoa joins a cast that already includes Lucas Till (Havoc in X-Men: First Class) and Merritt Patterson (Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief). The film, which appears to be in the same vein as the Twilight franchise, stars Till as a young werewolf accused of murdering his parents. He then escapes to the mysterious town of Lupine Springs, where things are not what they seem (obviously, with a name like Lupine Springs).
