- Used to be a competitive bodybuilder. He started bodybuilding when he was 15 years old and participated in his first competition at age 17. Later he became a bench press champion lifting close to 400 pounds and competed as a bodybuilder in both Sao Paulo, Brazil and New York City. In 2006 he ranked third place in the lightweight division at the NPC Eastern USA Championships held in Tribeca, NYC. In May 2008 he placed 3rd place in the lightweight division at the Muscle Beach Classic in Venice, California - his efforts leading up to that competition and the finals were filmed and are part of the documentary "Why We Train.".
- On one of his first acting jobs for a TV series in Brazil, Guile was hired to play a cop. The scene involved speeding through some streets on a police car. Unfortunately at that time, bank heists by robbers wearing police clothes were common and somebody called the police upon observing that "suspicious police car" speeding around. Within a few minutes real cops showed up surrounding the vehicle and almost shot him and the other actors. Thankfully the director and the crew ran to the scene to save them.
- Dropped out of Law School to pursue acting.
- Before he moved from Brazil to the United States in 2003 for life, he told his family and friends that he would be away for only two months.

- Red belt in both Aikido and Karate.
