Title: Suing the Devil Director: Timothy Chey Starring: Malcolm McDowell, Bart Bronson, Shannen Fields, Rebecca St. James, Tom Sizemore, Corbin Bersen, Ros Gentle Pablum would be a step up for “Suing the Devil,” an inane, moralizing Australian production from writer-director Timothy Chey that centers around a lawsuit against Satan. Aiming for some theoretical sweet spot between comedy, courtroom drama and Up-with-Jesus! sermonizing, this poorly sketched and dreadfully acted movie can’t even be saved via an attempted personality transfusion from a ranting, raving Malcolm McDowell, in the title role. It's taken about two years to get the goods on the Aussie horror flick Suing the Devil Stateside, but now we have the trailer, a poster, and, dare we say it, even a release date for you! Dig it!

Suing the Devil stars Malcolm McDowell, Shannen Fields, Tom Sizemore, and Corbin Bernsen. The film was written and directed by Timothy A. Chey. Look for it on demand on April 6th.

Synopsis:

Luke O'Brien, a washed-up janitor turned night law student, decides to sue Satan for $8 trillion. On the last day before Luke files a default judgment, Satan appears to defend himself. On Satan's legal team are 10 of the country's best trial lawyers. The entire world watches on Legal TV to see who will win the Trial of the Century.
