As per USA Today...

Check out the first stills below.

The Frankenweenie voice cast includes four actors who worked with Burton on previous films: Winona Ryder (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands), Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas), Martin Short (Mars Attacks!), and Martin Landau (Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow), along with Charlie Tahan and Atticus Shaffer.

Exclusive audio: Actor Atticus Shaffer talks “Frankenweenie”

18 December 2012 1:14 PM, PST | Fangoria | See recent Fangoria news »

Geared toward children, Frankenweenie is a marvel of macabre design, trading heavily on the Burton tropes of sentimentality, child’s-eye terror, Gothic horror clichés and imagery and grim whimsy. It also trots out a fantastic voice cast, including Martin Short, Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, who aid immeasurably in bringing this fable about death to life.

In anticipation of Disney’s impending deluxe DVD and Blu-ray release January 8, Fangoria caught up with young actor Atticus Shaffer, who channels Peter Lorre as the tombstone-toothed Edgar “E.” Gore, whose prying and inability to keep a secret sabotages the safety of young Victor (voiced by Charlie Tahan) and his no-longer-dead dog Sparky. Here’s an exclusive audio clip of that interview with the charming Shaffer about life in Burtonville…

John McNaughton Returns Behind The Camera For ‘The Harvest’

12 December 2012 1:00 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

John McNaughton isn’t the most prolific cinematic director in the world. He has only directed 6 films in the last 26 years, and the last one was Speaking Of Sex (2001). He’s probably best known for Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer (1986) and Wild Things (1998). He’s set to return as the director of The Harvest, starring Michael Shannon and Samantha Morton as overprotective parents who keep their son (Charlie Tahan) isolated in a controlled environment. When a new girl moves in next door (Natasha Calis), it upsets the perfectly constructed world of the family. McNaughton has kept busy with TV work over the last decade, but has been working on The Harvest for the last three years. Here’s what he had to say on the project:
