- Soledad Campos is a Chilean-born actress who moved to the U.S. with her family at age 19. She performed for ten consecutive years at GALA Hispanic Theatre, The Kennedy Center and The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC. During the day, she worked at Washington Performing Arts as a graphic designer. In 1998, she was hired by the Smithsonian Institution to promote Latin-American and U.S. Latino cultures, here she created and produced "Encuentros: Latin/o America at the Smithsonian," a series of music, dance, theatre, and spoken-word performances with educational-outreach programs.
