Quentin Tarantino has made his final decision and will be taking his ninth feature to Sony Pictures, Deadline reports. The movie represents the first time in Tarantino’s career that he will be making a film outside of Miramax or the Weinstein Company.

The 2017 Actress Roundtable Lineup

Chris here. There may already Gotham noms and film festivals, but Oscar season doesn't really start until The Hollywood Reporter's Actress Roundtable - at least in our hearts. This year's lineup includes returning folks Jennifer Lawrence (mother!), Emma Stone (Battle of the Sexes), and Jessica Chastain (Molly's Game), while the newbies are Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), Mary J. Blige (Mudbound - finally arriving on Netflix today!), and Allison Janney (I, Tonya).

The reliance on returning guests is still irksome, and that is particularly felt this year with a smaller lineup. The ongoing reckoning with sexual predators in the industry looms large over the conversation, but we also get the usual soundbites on creative risk, career advice, and dream collaborators. Who who you like to add to this lineup? Or what film would you recast with these ladies? (I'll offer Tiffany Haddish, and a Steel Magnolias where Lawrence plays Ouiser) Tell

Power Women Go Head-to-Head in Lead Actress Oscar Race

Power Women Go Head-to-Head in Lead Actress Oscar Race
The roles in the lead actress category run a wide range, from the precocious 6-year-old Brooklyn Prince in “The Florida Project” to 82-year-old Judi Dench playing the queen (again) in “Victoria & Abdul.” Other powerful women include previous nominees Jessica Chastain as a poker queen in “Molly’s Game,” Kate Winslet as a cheating wife in “Wonder Wheel” and Saoirse Ronan in the beloved coming-of-age tale “Lady Bird.” (At the age of 23, it’s interesting that Ronan could amost play the overdue card; she has two previous nominations and came close to winning with 2016’s “Brooklyn.”) They could battle previous winner Jennifer Lawrence; never underestimate the Academy love for her, even if “mother!” didn’t light up the box office. Other winners: Frances McDormand, delivering a fierce performance as a mother searching for justice in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and, of course, Meryl Streep. No matter that “The Post,” in which Streep plays Washington Post publisher Kay Graham

Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, & More Talk Equal Pay and Abuse in THR Roundtable

Lawrence: THR

“I hope the entertainment industry will never be the same,” Jessica Chastain responded when asked about the current watershed moment in Hollywood during a roundtable hosted by The Hollywood Reporter. New reports about harassment and abuse are emerging on a daily basis. But as the two-time Oscar nominee pointed out, there’s an extensive “history of abuse against women in our industry, and it’s never been addressed.” She explained, “I’m devastated by all the stories that have come out because it’s heartbreaking, but at the same time I feel hopeful because we’re not ignoring it anymore.”

Chastain (“Molly’s Game”) and the other actresses assembled — Jennifer Lawrence (“mother!”), Emma Stone (“Battle of the Sexes”), Saoirse Ronan (“Lady Bird”), Mary J. Blige (“Mudbound”), and Allison Janney (“I, Tonya”) — certainly didn’t ignore the evolving climate during the candid conversation, which touched on everything from equal

Pregnant Khloe Kardashian Poses in Only a Bodysuit and Blazer, Sister Kim Replicates the Style
Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West appear to be sharing a closet -- or at least a stylist.

On Tuesday night, Khloe stepped out to support of her older sister at her fragrance launch in Los Angeles, California, and while Kim was the guest of honor, her pregnant sibling turned heads in her all-black ensemble.

Khloe, 33, decided to ditch the pants, and instead opted for fishnet stockings and a black bodysuit. She managed to hide whatever sign of a baby bump she may have by wearing a black blazer over the skimpy style, which she paired with black ankle boots and a gold-chained purse.
